Backup To The Web only collects information from non-customers in the event they want to register for a trial account. In such instances, the customer provides a User ID, Password, and email address. The email address is only for sending reports and reminders.

The personal information we store is collected from the following sources:

Client Software: During the registration process, a user ID, password, and email address is requested.
Website Forms: Email addresses and Backup To The Web User IDs are requested to facilitate matching your request with your backup account.
Payment information: All PayPal Payment information is provided through the PayPal secure website. Please see their privacy policy for how they distribute your personal information. Backup To The Web does not see your credit card information at any stage of the transaction.

Individuals To Whom Personal Information May Be Disclosed

We may disclose your information if such disclosure is required by law or pursuant to any legal proceeding.

We will NOT disclose your information to third parties for marketing or promotional reasons.
